‘Robotic Physiotherapist’ on its way
School of Computing and Creative Technologies at the University of Abertay, Dundee and Dr. Sue Mawson, research Physiotherapist from Sheffield University designed an exoskeleton that mimics movements performed by a trained Physical Therapist. The system can guide patients through a complex series of lower limb movements and also provides feedback to the therapist.
